Silver Falls State Park is located near Sublimity, Oregon about 1/2 hour from our studio in Salem, Oregon.  We were delighted to create a souvenir porcelain mug, souvenir ornament, and magnet for their gift shop.  The South Falls are magnificent and the surrounding picnic areas and extensive hiking trails all combine to create a perfect venue for a fantastic family outing.  

The view of this artwork is from the walking trail at the bottom of the falls.  Midway up the cliff there is a deep recess into the rock where the trail winds behind the water fall and creates a unique perspective.  Its worth the short (but steep) walk!
